That bloke "Pat Pending" must have had loads of tools. I've had a few with his name on them!
I've got a Stanley claw hammer with fibreglass shaft that my OH bought me many years back, and that's OK, but my preferred claw hammer is an ancient Steelmaster that belonged to my late FIL. It's as tatty as anything, and the edges of the face have been "nibbled" by I assume using it for masonry nails.
It's just "right" though somehow.
