I wished the pills would do the job their supposed to. Sadly sentimentality is about all they can muster atm.

I couldn't agree more Tom.

And I think as a newbie you have contributed highly for the level of warmth that permeates this hole in the ether!

I look forward to meeting you at Ye Olde Kent Bash!

Cheers

Jimi....also in Kent!

Same here, I'd like to thank everybody for their contributions over the years.

This site is more than just a website/forum, it really is a community, of which I'm proud to be a part of. Even though I've only ever met a couple of members, I feel that I know most of you well enough to call you friends.

Without this site where would we be? I'll tell you where, sat on the sofa watching telly and talking to the wife, that's where. Perish the tought!!

Cheers all.

Thank you indeed guys. I've only been around a short while and have already benefited considerably...

Well said Tom.
Let's keep up the amazingly high level of patient helpfulness that marks this forum out!

Happy Christmas everyone

as Tel said last week, real friends are 'mutually abusive' If all this sycophantic rubbish continues I'm going to throw up...

Merry Christmas anyway Tom...need to put another nugget of coal on the fire - Rob

I must admit I thought this forum was the way all forums responded when I first joined, until I visited others :( . Now after three years I realise this is the best and long may it continue. Special thanks to Charley and the mods for their sterling efforts and to all contributors, without whom all would be be lost.

This is the only forum I've stayed with for more than a few months. That says it all.

Thankyou.

How sweet. A fluffy moment. I'd like to thank my mum, my dad, my agent, my dog, my (sniff) shoes, and anyone I've forgotten.

OK, I guess it's only apt to make the gesture. Well done Tom.

yep. must agree to all previous posts tho' I hate chrimbo for its over commercialised , but the true chrimbo spirit does show itself every now and again.

to all who pop in here, I wish you all a safe, warm and joyus [sp] Chrimbo and a prosperous new year.

HS stuck again in A'dam.

Thanks to everyone for the help so generously given and for the entertainment when a thread goes bad and heads off into spats and philosophical wrangling

Hurrah, some Chrimbo love :D :ho2

Echo Tom's sentiments to Charley, Mods and you luddites too ;)

Even to you Ebeneezer Stoakley! ;)

Have a great time everyone, whether you love or hate the festive period. Big kisses all round.

Well said, Tom.

Merry Christmas to you all, whether you want it to be all fluffy or whether you would prefer to be mutully abusive - just go for it!

Have fun and all best wishes for the New Year.

Cheers (Yuletide ones, I guess)

Merry Christmas to all and a big thank you to every one who has ever answered any of my stupid questions. I have learnt more about woodworking and I have been kept enthusiastic about it for the past couple of years mainly by this forum
