Hi All, My first post, although I have been reading a lot on here and finding it most helpful. I have been tasked with making a pair of brass bath taps usable. They are an obsolete size, 7/8"BSP tails. Sadly whoever salvaged them forgot to save the back-nuts, with out which they are useless. I have managed to concoct a pair of tap connectors to adapt for 22mm copper pipe and could make a pair of back-nuts, but would have to purchase a set of taps and a die in 7/8"BSP to do so, at enormous expense. Has anybody any 7/8" BSP back-nuts hiding in a scrap box?
