Table saws, riving knives, and how to trench cut

And bits of knots/ splinters etc. I always wear Goggles after a very near miss..... got a good cut right under my right eye from a bit of knotty wood ejected at speed......

The Bosch GTS 10XC also has a riving knife that drops low enough to allow grooving cuts. The saw is pretty damned accurate as well when using decent baldes. I only use Freud blades in mine and find it a superb workshop table saw. It sits on a wheeled trolley and brought out when in use, stowed against the wall when not.
