that is brilliant! I had to raise my blade guard very high to get my push stick past the blade, when I cut the narrow strips next to the fence. I recently had to remove the guard all together to cut an already thin strip down to 6 mm, which I found quite scary. I will definitely be building your push block and a couple of feather boards.

As the fence does not move the accuracy and repeatibility will not be compromised.I've just noticed, though, that although it's not necessary to move the fence between cuts, one would need to move the featherboard.
