I want to make an interlocking lattice, like the partitions you might have in a sewing box etc.
Easiest way is to saw kerf half way through a block and then slice it up and plane to thickness, then interlock them.
Tried it with a normal saw, kerf width 3.2mm and it works perfectly - very neat joints and precise fit. But want thicker pieces.

Could do multiple side by side cuts but this immediately makes a simple job much more difficult so I want a blade with say 5mm kerf

Are wider kerfed blades available to fit a normal TS?

Are you sure enough will be above the table Jacob, if I use a 300mm blade I have 70mm showing, so a 150mm blade wouldn't even project on my saw.

Felder sell a 5mm blade grooving/dado/finger joint blade. The one I have is 300mm diameter. I think they also do a 230mm blade.

The 150mm projects enough on my Kity to groove- i cant remember how much it would cut as a maximum, but for what i have used it on it was fine. That takes a max of 280mm blade, so that 20mm difference may be the difference between projecting and not.

A valid point by Bob.

Thanks. I'll have a closer look!
Next question; are larger diameter grooving saws available?

Sorry, I might be being thick but why would you want a bigger diameter than 300mm in a table saw arrangement?

you could try Doug at cutting solutions, if he doesn't have one in stock he could make one for you, or if you have a tool sharpener near you get another normal blade and ask them to regrind it,

A wobble saw?
Won't fit on a saw arbor - spindle only but wouldn't do the job - parallel cuts over face of an A4 ish size board.

Jacob, if it is a one off you can come over here and use mine. You are only 40 minutes away. However I am not in again until Friday.

What if you used the fence/length stop. Do your cut, then slip a 1.8mm packing piece in. Bit of a faff, but atleast it'll be a consistent size.

Thanks PAC1 but I've got a lot of them to do.

Bodge #1 will probably be putting two blades side by side. I've got some thin ones. But rather get the proper kit as it will be a doddle.

You packing could be 100mm and 101.8mm just for ease. Have you got loads to do ?

Be careful on Bodge#1 Jacob. Dado blades have opposite teeth, the two main blades are labelled "inside" & "outside" so chips are thrown clear. Big torque on the saw as well if using ordinary full size blades.
Other option, certainly would work with A4 size stock, would be a sled and run each piece moved back and forth between stops. A nibble at a time if cuts are deep.
