I'll do some prototypes with my 3.2 blade and see how it goes.
It's a project for a local craftworker who wants some nice partitioned boxes for arty odds and ends. I like production work (multiples) so if I'm going to get set up for it I could look at taking it further.
 
Got an old blade? Might be able to get a saw sharpening place to braze on 4 or 6 wider TCT teeth and grind accordingly.
 
Those grooving blades sound like they'd be dandy in conjunction with my woodgears box joint jig...

I have a 6mm groover for box joints etc., on a 315mm TS I can have at least an inch above the table. It's an Axi .
 
It would work perfectly with my 48 tooth gear which moves exactly 6mm per rotation. 6 and 12mm box joints would be super simple. I have a german rapid pk-100, I get 75mm over the table wit a 250mm blade, or was it a 254mm...
