Hi all!
This is my first post on this forum, so excuse me if this topic has been brought up before!!
I have been using a Sheppach site table saw that I inherited from my dad about ten years ago (kind of like an older model of the TKU4000) It is an absolute workhorse but its accuracy is beginning to cause me problems. If I am ripping an 8ft length there could be 5mm in the difference at either end, and I am constantly having to readjust the sliding table for cross cutting, and the blade doesn't stay at 90 deg for too long!! All this checking and tweaking is a real pain in the ass!! Last year the fold out extension that holds a second fence fell down while my dad was cleaning it and severed the tendon in his finger so I took that off!
So now I'm in the market for a new table saw, can anyone recommend anything to me? Obviously accuracy is a big factor, and something that won't take up too much floor space. I would have up to £1000 to spend.
Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated!!
