It's now what I do for a living, I work for a bespoke furniture making company after doing a full time course for 2 yrs.

I do like that stripe, I think I would have put it at the back tho, or ran one both sides.

Now that is finished with the draw I think it looks very nice. Hadn't made my mind up, well I had and I didn't like it, in the first photos. The draw makes it for me oh and the inlay.

It's a nice job apart from the legs! Just make sure there are no Italian dogs around..

The quality of your work looks excellent, although I don't get the 6 legs thing either...

Cheers, Ed

The legs are starting to grow on me (I mean the table legs) at first I thought strange however it does make the piece different. Very nice workmanship.

Thanks for all the kind words, as I said in the 1st post, not my design just my work. I still don't like the 6 legs and would like to have a taper on both sides of a leg, but with the inlay it would not look right! The Sycamore is quite blotchy and quite a lot of it was cut off of the top made from one plank. There is however a lot of silvery areas which don't show on the photos and I managed to get figuring on the front 2 legs which also does not show in the photos. I made the side tables next to the main one in the 1st pic, I posted the making of them on the forum. :)
