Steel or copper banding

I am in need of some steel or copper banding, size not critical but about 25 mm by 0.8 to 1 mm thick. I need around 6 metres or so. Any idea where I can get it?

What you specify is rather thick for banding, if you search under steel flat bar you will have more success

Same applies for copper - you may get a shock when you see the price.

If you search for a local steel stock holder they will supply a 6m standard length at a fraction of the cost of anywhere else.

Anybody near you likely to use steel bandwrap on crates etc, they might have some to sell. If you don't need it in one length find a sheet metal shop that will shear a sheet up for you..

What about trying a local warehousing or transport company ?
I'd expect them to have a banding machine and that stuff comes in different widths.
