For Sale Stanley 41/2 Heavyweight Version

This Stanley 4/12 was manufactured with thicker castings and weighs in at approx 5lbs/230 grams compared to another 41/2 that I own which weighs approx 41/2lbs/205grams. The plane is in very good condition having had very little use. It has a near full length iron. The price is £45.00p. It can be posted (UK only) at the buyers expense. A lovely plane to use owing to its extra heft!!!!

Didn't know that either. Mine weighs 4lb 10oz with an ebony knob and handle.
