I am thinking about getting some quotes to have the roof of the workshop spray foam insulated. Its a corrugated asbestos/cement sheet which has many gaps at the eaves and is pretty difficult to keep the shop warm in the winter and also it gets hot in the summer. The landlord will hopefully go 50/50 with the costs or there may be some local grants available.

Anyone got any experience of having it done and was it worth it? Any reccomended contractors? looking at an area of about 250m2

cheers

I've used Websters a few times for narrowboat interiors, they are highly regarded within this industry and I also believe they do domestic / industrial installations. I pay around £1000 for a narrowboat interior 40mm to 50mm thick, approx 75m2. I can get a phone number for you tomorrow if you want.

Regards

Richard
