Can i ask Why my Post was deleted from this thread, for future reference incase i said/did something wrong.

showing genuine interest on the item for sale and asking a question. i had to pm the seller or i wouldnt have got a responce.

Mod edit:- Don't know for certain, was your post the one that said something on the lines of "where did you get the wood from" if so it was hardly relevant to an offer to purchase, OP had stated it was 10 yr. old unused stock. Likewise this post will be removed shortly.

Sorry to argue against the mods decision but I feel that in this world the question of where timber is obtained from is totally justified. It could be that the timber had been reclaimed and reworked, it may not be FSC certified, possibly (although unlikely with oak) it may of been felled from under some lost tribes noses, or it could of been grown responsibly, felled and dried locally and now ready for sale, either way the question is pertinent to propels decision to buy or not.

Mod edit:-
prime English oak with the bark and sap wood cut off. The boards were originally 3' wide and have been cut down the middle, so there is very little heart wood and knotting. These boards were kiln dried some 10 years ago
Source in this instance is hardly relevant.

I thought that may be the reason, i guess its my fault for not explaining what i meant, by where it was from i meant did you source/ fell the timber yourself, or buy it from a dealer/merchant.

But i can see how youd think i was trolling as asking where '"english oak" was from is a very face value obvious answer.

All sorted now anyhows.
