Speeding up Pm's...

I've been trying to send a few pm's lately to forum members, but the messages seem to be stuck in my outbox for AGES. Am I doing something wrong?

No your doing it right, they stay in your out box until read by the other member, then they move to your sent box.

There are some people (you don't know who you are) who seem to completely miss the PM function. I've sent PMs to people who have logged on and off loads of times before they notice they have a PM waiting for them!

On the screen I'm using at the moment I always get a pop-up thingie whenever I get a new PM but at home using Firefox that don't happen which is a bit of a pain...is there any way to enable Fx so that I get the 'you got mail' pop up? - Rob

Hi Paul - I get the email as well but it's the pop up thingie I need as it becomes very easy to miss any incoming messages, I have to make a conscious effort to look at the message tab at the top of the screen - Rob
