o.k i hope i've sorted the size out right

heres an early hollow form/vase i did, theres a small hole near the base- this was not apparent from the outside but i like it, a lucky accident.

heres a more recent oak vase/hollow form, turned in a similar way to a box- in that the whole log was mounted then rough shaped split in two then hollowed and rejoined. i dont normally hollow this way but i wanted a tall vase, this measures about 18" .

Pic sizes are fine!

Luv the lip rest on the goblets

There's some serious pieces that should get folks talking... and perhaps emulating...

Hi

Some really beautiful pieces there, the shapes look perfect, and the execution looks excellent, love the oak vase and the square ash platter especially

Hiya, thats some C V you got there and you say theres more. Beautiful pieces Ithink you are going to enjoy on here. Lots of people to compare with. Of course when you turners are showing your wares you are giving me plenty of ideas. Not that I would copy anybodys work. I somehow manage to make it different on purpose of course. Welcome and well done. Regards Boysie

Excellent work,and a great variety :D
Personal favourites are the damson hollow-form (shape is very visually appealing) and the "simple" box (love the colour and form) - but I'd be more than happy to have any of them as display pieces.

Some great exposés of the natural wood form in those pieces.

The Laburnum Vase and the Wall Plaque held my attention the most.

Hi cornucopia, as has been said that is some CV. I have just finished looking at them all, and I can't pick out any special ones. I like them ALL!

Some really nice work there.

Wow ! Lovely work there, Sir .....
If the 'unworthy' may be allowed to voice a view ... I liked the right-hand spalted beech vase, the laburnum piece and the Goblets.... but as has been said, everything there-above is stunning. 8)

Yet more inspiration for aspiration ... one day ! :D

All terriffic... post up more ! :p 8)

Apart from the plaque I like them all - nice, flowing curves , simple shapes and well finished. Impossible to pick a favourite.

There's some excellent work there like the spalted beach I have some QLD Bach which has splating but its right on the edge of the cuts and will disapear when turning begins.
