This year the poor old chap got a serious hernia bringing me a semi pro MIG welder so i could not really expect much in the woodworking line. However I did get
Some painters pyramids

and the Dakota equivalent of the Wixey angle gauge. I've been intrigued by these for a while and can't wait for permission to desert the family and get into the workshop to play with it.

I cant play with the welder yet as I still have to get a big refillable cylinder of gas and it is possible that the supplier wont be open until 4th Jan anyway.
