I got a DAB radio (for the workshop!), a couple of CDs, some clothes (including a pair of steel-toed boots) and a Nintendo Wii (at last!! :D)!

The plans to make one of these:

Here's my little Xmas haul

The two gifts at the front are from Woodbloke as part of the Hand Tool Secret Santa. The others are a Clifton 3110 shoulder plane and a jap x-cut saw, with a spare rip blade. :D

Cheers

Karl

In my case that traditional winter gift of a stinking cold!
Yeah okay! Computer gear, lots of bottles, boxes of fudge, oh and socks!
But Santa made a massive delivery for my grandson, roll on when he's old enough for scalextric!

Why wait until he's old enough? I got Scaletrix for Xmas a couple of years back  (and a remote control car the year before, and...)

I think he'll definitely be getting one next year!
Just got to come up with the right excuse to the missus!

Roy.

I got £150 in cash to spend in the workshop, may go in the direction of chip/dust extractor.

Bottle of Port, Toblerone, bottle of Red wine, wood turning book, comedy DVD, fleece.

But I guess best of all, had both my Sons and their girlfriends here all day Christmas day and Boxing day.

I got a Trend Tri-Scribe as a ****y prize from my Dad for not getting my Aircap delivered on time. It looks like a handy bit of kit, I've always fancied their tri square too.

Apart from Tony's fantastic marking gauge, FC brought me some more Kell shinies...a centre finder and a beautiful little brass bevel gauge. I also had a nice big snail countersink and three of Matthew's new Chattahoochee(sp) green bendy pencils...thanks for the spare Matthew  - Rob

No tools for me this year, can't understand what went wrong.

Had a couple of good CD's, some cycling gear for the winter and a lot of washing up.

Must not forget my wonderful SS gifts, over the moon.

Now I've had chance to actually look at my encyclopedia I think it'll come in very handy as a reference.
I sold my p/t just before xmas so will be buying myself a late xmas present in the new year - a dw733 :)

The obligatory jumpers, and wearable to boot.
An eggcup painted by my 18 month old daughter.
An energy monitor which uploads to my computer so I can be even geekier about saving energy.
And for the workshop my first Japanese chisel and a couple of Matthew's magnetic tools holders, a very satisfying clunk as the former and latter meet.

and a couple of bits and pieces but overall very pleased. Probably the best present was my daughter's reaction on unwrapping the doll's cot I made for here. She instantly went and found a doll to put to bed in it:)

My parents got the kids Scaletrix for Chrismas and they are 4 and 5. Only problem was that they told us that 2 days before we were going out to buy them the same thing  So the kids ended up with Wii Sports Resort from us. Best thing ever.

As well as the Veritas carpenters gauge and the dovetail marker from my Secret Santa I got a copy of Joyce and some snail countersinks from the inlaws. From SWIMBO I got a Wixey angle finder and a depth gauge for my thinckneser and a copy of the Toolbox Book (tool porn of the highest calibre ;) )

Then there were three bottles of rather nice Whisky and Rum and a watch I had been after for a while from my parents (who presented it in the middle of a pile of scrap pine and telling me that they had got wood for my present ;) )

Nah, mean is when I tidy up all of the wood and make a box out of it to give them next Christmas ;)

I did not get any woodworking stuff for Christmas (apart from my SS) as I had already bought a few small (and light) items in Toronto!:

The book was on special offer and is my bed time reading at the moment.
