Got sky+ and connected up with optical cable to 5.1 amp but which programs are in dolby d it does not tel me in radio times where can i get this info. I want to check i have set up the onkyo amp properly, however i am getting prologic 2 sound ok.
 
Yes thats helpful looks like i shall have to buy a movie of sky or subscribe.

I didn't think all the movie channels were - normally it says on the info screen for each movie if it is DD for dolby digital - I know HD are all 5.1 but not SD as far as I know
 
Update:- the movie chanells (subscription) are in dd mostly. box office is dolby surround .

A bit of confusion from the sound of it, box office is in dolby digital 5.1 by the nature of modern films, movie channels maybe if they are new enough but could be in the older dolby surround format pro logic.
