Mine arrived recently, and I've used them in several glue ups now. Currently they're helping me glue the leg sections of a workbench (made with laminated recycled Victorian floorboards). And they're proving very useful, and perfectly up to my needs. So I'm very pleased. Thanks again for the alert, Sammy. Best, Seb.

I got mine on Friday. They seem really good for the money. I'll do a test shortly.

I have a few of the Silverline F clamps, in 300/450/600/900mm sizes. Their "heavy duty" models work pretty well. They are often on sale on amazon for £5-10 in the various sizes.

Quickie review:
Solid and well constructed. Bar is solid. Jaws are at 88 degrees to the bar, and don't flex under pressure - so not parallel, but they don't move about. Very slight lateral flex when tightened at full distance, and feels a bit soft. No vertical flex at all. I tightened a test piece to what I would consider enough to cramp but not get rid of all the glue.

Will it apply pressure like a cast iron sash cramp on a front door? No. Will it cramp together medium and light weight stuff like cabinet doors, drawers and carcasses? Yes

All in all, great value for 8 quid!

That not-quite-right-angle is why these things work. Your's look like any other F clamp, and will give you endless years of trouble free service.

With budget buys it always helps to put your hand on it before purchase and don't be afraind to return them. I think we have a couple but they have red grips, they work fine. Yours should work well for your intended task.
