Side table à la Lord Nibbo

A while back Lord Nibbo made a beautiful HiFi Unit from American Black Walnut. I really liked the style of the unit and so when I got a request from SWMBO for some coffee tables I thought I'd use the same method as his Lordship.

Sorry I don't know what the wood is - probably something off of the CITES list but that is all I can get, as anything that can legally be logged is exported. The finish is Patina.

Funny you should say that but I was thinking of perhaps making 3 more the same and then a larger square coffee table that the four side tables would fit underneath. Will keep you posted.
