I have been asked to assist a friend with the construction of a roof on his shed 18 by 10.

He wants to put something on the roof that resembles tiles but without the weight of tiles.

Any ideas

This any good, then? I know someone who'll paint you a tromp l'oeuil slate or tile roof on MDF if you like, but I doubt it will be all that durable..... :wink:

How about the felt shingles they sell in Wickes? I know they are not quite tiles but they do look smart. I used them on the gazebo build. :wink:
