I've spent a lot of time trying to understand what and when the Eskilstuna maker E.A. Berg Mfg Co made whatever they made.

So if any of you who read this forum have any information, tool samples and trade catalogues you'd like to share, I'd love to hear from you. I am especially interested in leaflets, advertising material, catalogues or references to the company in books or magazines related to the trade.

Here's the link to the latest story:

I'd love to help but you're already educating me.

Best of luck with the project, it's very important that this sort of information is conserved.

As far as I know, you have already found the most thorough source of information available.

Kim here are a couple of links you may or may not find interesting, the first is based on a letter from a Mr Moller from the firms Berg and Bahco there are some good facts hidden amongst his letter.

The second is from Wolfgang Jordan`s excellent site Small tool museum, this one you may not find so interesting as he names you as one of his sources. I wish you the best of luck in your search.

Many thanks Billy. I had seen what Wolfgang has and the story on Bahco was also familiar. But you're right, it contains a some hidden facts which I will approach in my next story.
