Keep to selves, with return addresses on parcels it can be easy to know. I think the anonymity of it gives people the confidence to have a go knowing every gift they make or buy will be well received.
We don't reveal ourselves usually, this year I posted the start of what I was making for SWMBO but then halfway through had a design change that would spoil SS if I revealed it so said that if my recipient knew I was their SS I would show the gift for SWMBO.I haven't seen any guesswork or speculation on who might've made/sent which gifts.... Does that normally happen? Being a newb, I am at a disadvantage on what kinds of objects each member normally makes (Apart from Blackswanwood and his amazing, beautiful boxes and maybe one or two others who turn christmas decor!) or what styles they make them in.
I'm looking forward to any insights that the guessing would bring.
Everyone is welcome, I've already marked my calendar for September to get the post up and running and start getting people interestedI wouldn't have a clue who my Santa is.
This is my first Secret Santa on the forum but I can see it becoming a regular thing now.
