Hi, thanks for asking. Funnily enough I got an automated rejection this morning - via Indeed so it doesn't feel too personal! After I applied I did actually research a bit about the secure lock up thing and I learned that if you accept the job they make you (the fitter) sign a form making you liable for any damage to the materials etc etc. This would make it impossible to trust as reading between the lines it appears to me that the flat packed furniture gets delivered to you and you get very limited chance to check it, it also means unwrapping everything off site - can you imagine how inconvenient that is?! - then once you've re-packed it and taken it on site you're liable for anything needing replacing and even anything missing!!!!!! Various other things on the form that seemed unbelievably draconian, I'm slightly surprised they're even legal. I probably had a lucky escape. Never mind, onwards and upwards as they say, something will show up.
