ALERT ALERT

A fairly reliable person just told me that Scrambled Eggs might be advised against because it has been considered , by some "eggspert" that , that the temperature when they are cooked is not high enough to kill salmonella,,

It can"t be true surely

It was Eggwina Curry MP about 20 years ago I seem to recall.
Obviously she was wrong or I'd be a dead man, along with a lot of other people.
One benefit from Eggwina's intrusion was a temporary fall in the price of eggs - we ate them till they came out of our ears!

The shells also carry bugs - always wash your hands well when handling eggs (and chickens).

Pregnancy Mums and young children are advised not to eat soft cooked eggs.

Don't care what they say, I will continue to have my egg and soldiers on a Sunday morning
