Hello all,
I've a Scheppach HS 260 planer/thicknesser and generally I'm quite happy with it. However, it's missing the extractor hood/connection and I'm unable to source one. Would anyone know where I might find one? I seem to spend more time cleaning up chippings than doing productive work these days!
If I can't source an extractor hood, I'm thinking of upgrading to a Jet JPT260. My problem here, however is that I don't have a 16A power source and can't readily introduce one. The Scheppach is nominally 16A as well but works quite happily on a 13A circuit and I've read (somewhere) that the Jet actually only draws about 10A - the suggestion was that the startup may have drawn more - so I was wondering if a 13A circuit might accommodate it? Has anyone any experience of using a Jet JPT260 on a 13A circuit?
Thanks,
Oisin,,
