Sawstop demo and thoughts

Am I correct in thinking it's just Sawstop and Festool that are selling tablesaws with safety systems in the UK? I can see axminster has the CTS for £900 which is much better than the £1500 when I looked a few years back.

They have the compact at £900 and the jobsite pro at £1600 - I’m not aware of any other manufacturers..

Sawstop is licensed to festool(or same parent company etc) so indeed, just those two companies packages sell at Axminster

In what markets, do you think sawstop will takeover ? Do you really think it will replace products from companies like Itech and SCM in the industrial market.

I suppose it depends on which model.
The CTS/pro will suit the people who buy the Dewalt and bigger Bosch/Makita 'site' saws, either in an industrial environment or home workshop.
The cabinet saw market will probably be the home maker or small pro shop[.

Festool's parent company TTS bought the (SawStop) company a few years ago.
