I have the Record RSDE1 for use with my router table, bench sander and other bench tools, I also have the DX4000 for use with the Table saw, Bandsaw and Planer/thicknesser, yes they are a bit noisy but no noisier than the machines they are fixed to, I had these because they are easy to put under the bench and under the table saw which is a bonus in a small workshop, if I had a bigger workshop I may have the other type.
