Does anyone recognise this makers trademark?

Dunno -- is it opera glasses/binoculars or maybe a cruet? - often the symbol was a play on words or related to the market.

Was there a maker Binns?

Sanderson Brothers had this mark with "CAPS ANY" underneath.
