Yep, my Dakota pocket hole jig did exactly the same thing. I suppose it matches the guide to the drill. Couldn't spot any difference between the Dakota jig and the Trend one apart from cost and colour of the plastic parts.

Such a shame that all three items I would have ordered are out-of-stock. So I'll either buy elsewhere, do without or improvise my own - given their reputation, not even the offer of free delivery & 15% discount would induce me to order out-of-stock items from them.
