I bought one of these several years ago (probably around 6 or 7 years?). The fence was rubbish and the handwheel broke but on the positive side the plate is flat and the router motor and lift mechanism are still working after a lot of use. I made a new fence and have the metal plate set into a bench now so all working better than ever.
£170 sounds a bit much to me but you would struggle to buy a motor and lift mechanism/plate for that.

I bought the Rutland router table on one of their 'buy before midnight' promos, I think for £150. It was absolutely worth it. Like Mike says, the fence is rubbish and the handwheel broke, and Rutlands do not supply spares or have any customer support once the sale is complete.
It is a lot of compromises- the table is nearly big enough, the cutter capacity is nearly enough, dust extraction is nearly adequate, fence is nearly straight etc. but it is a decent, grunty motor, with a lift mechanism that is reliable and nearly simple to operate. And it doesn't tie up your 1/2" router, and honestly doesn't cost a lot more than a decent plain router. Work has changed over the past few years, so whilst the Rutland table is now not up to the job and will soon be replaced, it doesn't owe me anything
I could have made a router table, but if it takes a day, it costs me more than the price of the made thing.
These Lumberjack and Excel are exactly the same machine with a different label for rather less money
