Rutlands router jig for small items

Has anyone seen this before? And if so did you think it was a useful gadget to have, as I do sometimes wonder if something like this would be useful for me to use with my table. The video makes it look easy and simple to use, but is it that good? And will it last?

Or should I just make something myself?
