Hi I’m new to this forum thing and only joined today as I’m in need of some help PLEASE! I have no experience and very limited use of using my router which is a Dewalt DCW600 and I wish to explore the possibilities with it PROBLEM IS i purchased a router inlay kit but it doesn’t fit in my router base so then I purchased a Trend universal 150 base for 1/4 routers GREAT THOUGHT I thought and that doesn’t fit my router base plus the inlay kit doesn’t fit that also so I had another THOUGHT and purchased a 10 piece router guide set which also does not fit any of my Dewalt bases and also doesn’t fit the Trend universal 150 base and the thread on the inlay kit is different to the thread on the 10 piece set even though they are same diameter but the locking nuts are completely different threads 🤬🤬🤬 am I doing something WRONG please as I’m struggling with this PLEASE HELP I’ve added 1 picture showing my items instead of showing multiple pics left to right router, inlay kit, 10 piece set and the Trend 150 base.

You can check compatibility of the [UNIBASE 150] base here:

https://www.trend-uk.com/compatibility

Your machine is not listed within the DeWalt ones, so that would explain why the base does not fit.

Router guide bushes come in two flavours: Trend/Elu style and Porter Cable style.

The ones on the black plastic box are Porter Cable style. They are therefore unlikely to fit a Trend base.

The ones in the inlay kit are probably a metric-threaded close-equivalent to an imperial Porter Cable one. Please say where you bought it - a far east supplier is likely to use metric.

Everything you never wanted know about guide bushes here:

https://www.wealdentool.com/kb/rons-tips/guide-bushes/guide-bushes-part-one-basics/

Search eBay for 'dewalt dcw600 base' and you will find people selling 3D printed bases that will accommodate the guide bushes.

Edit [UNIBASE 150] added above. The Unibase Trim by Trend _is_ compatible:
