Replacement start capacitor. WARNING: STUPID QUESTION INCOMING!

The start cap on my million year old Wolf grinder just went pop (the big rectangular one). Aftera bit of googling, I can't see a like for like replacement.

Question 1 - does this style of cap have a particular name?

Question 2 - other than originality, any reason why I can't fit a cylindrical type of the correct rating? I am guessing that other than style/shape, there is no essential difference.

Ps the round one isn't the correct rating - just using it as an example

All you need is the correct AC voltage rating and capacitance value in microfarads, shape, color etc makes no difference providing it fits.
