Ratcheting Spanner Set

Word of warning about the Halfords spanners. Bought a large set including some ratchet spanners. Was doing some adjustments on my Felder and rounded over an inaccessible nut. Never came off the front of it just rounded over. Couldn't work out why as 13mm nut and 13mm spanner. Got the nut of with a cheapo Screwfix spanner also 13mm. Checked both spanners with a vernier gauge and the Halfords was 13.3mm while the Screwfix cheapo was 13.1. Checked the whole set and tolerances are poor. Still a useful set put a long way from precision tools.

That makes their tool chests fantastic value, seeing as they have 50% off as well (you can combine the offers). It makes the ratchet spanner sets an acceptable price too.
