I was given, as a present, the 5" green Bosch one recently and whilst it does the job it does vibrate quite a lot and after a while I found my hand tingling, if you do a search there has been a lot of discussion about ROS and from memory the 6" Metabo one seemed to come out well or was it the AEG one? Anyway a search will reveal.

I have just bought a new one myself after much mucking about.
The first one was a Makita BO6040, I found it far to big and it vibratied a lot,on top of that it did not have a dust bag or even a side handle so I took it back. I am a great fan of Makita tools so I was a bit dissapointed.
The one I have ended up with is a Metabo SXE450 Turbo Tec, it is a great piece of kit with a good dust filter system,2 orbit diameters and a turbo switch for when you need a quick boost.
My one was with 100 free discs but there is one with a case and a few discs.
I got mine from Aldermaston tools and as ever they were very helpful, the last good thing was the 3 year warrenty and at nearly £100 difference I am well pleased.

Thanks guys the Metabo SXE450 Turbo Tec seems to be the business.

I was shopping around and they offer 110v and 240v which one?

Cheers

I work on site and in my workshop so I use both voltages, I went for the 240 volt in this case as it will be used mainly in the workshop and it saves me plugging in the transformer.
