now if that was PINK FLOYD playing i would go there
now that is some proper music

It doesn't seem to popular with many residents, probably due to the Council refusing help to fund the long-established and excellent river festival, on the grounds that it's "too expensive," yet are funding the entire Radio One visit from the rates, as I understand it.

Ray.

they won't stump up the £22K for policing the river festival, BUT op-stack was costing £5k a day and thats FINE!

what is the world coming to.

it isn't popular with me thats for sure, my lovely park is now closed off, chavs hanging around, road closures, and my lads can't go and play in the play-ground.

Didn't you lot go to concerts when you were younger? Didn't you like music that your parents thought was dross? I'm sure your parents said exactly the same things that you are now.

Why shouldn't the BBC put on concerts? What about the Proms? do you disagree with them as well?

yup

don't get me started about the radio1 extra "urban music" station.

RADIO 1!!! I have wiped that one off my dial. Amature 'Music' (and I use that in the loosest term) headed by a bunch of juvinile delinquents who love themselves. Give me Radio 2 anyday, real music and good humour. I am glad I am not down there for this circus or I might do something immoral or illegal. Oh, and yes my Father did ask me if the music I listened to was English.........it was the Moody Blues!!

then as well as many of undesirabless.

I don't think I want to know what you meant by that.
