Quartersawn wood

Could anybody tell me where I can purchase Quartersawn wood from? I am trying to find a supplier without any luck for Quartersawn Cherry, Beech and Pear up to 50mm thick.
Any help would be most appreciated.

As Quater sawing is a lot more time consuming and wastefull than through & through sawing you are unlikely to find QS boards in the thickness you require (or any other thickness)

Your only chance would be if you were able to get the center boards from Through & through sawn butts as this will give close to QS either side of the heart which will be waste. Failing that just sorting through your supplier sstocks to get as near as possible to QS.

Also bear in mind that pear and to some extent cherry are not particularly large dia trees so the width of QS boards will be quite narrow.
