I bought some "Egger" brand laminate flooring adhesive. It is rated "D3", specifies that it's formulated especially for tongue and grooves? I'd have thought D3 was D3? What's the difference? I assume it allows more creep? With PVA D3 and D4 polyurethane on offer for £1.50 per Ltr. I don't suppose I was robbed.

At the risk of asking a silly question, what do you need laminate floor adhesive for ? All the stuff I've ever fitted just click/lock into place

I don't need the adhesive for flooring, I bought it because it was cheap. It is specifically made/marketed for flooring, which is why I was wondering what the difference was. It actually specifies "tongues and grooves".

I would guess that it is just any old D3, but they have branded it to appeal to a particular market....
