I have a couple of Pentel ones. Cheap and good.

However of you want the best look at Rotring, the newton 600 is made of solid brass, either plated black or silver. Pretty much the ultimate pencil.

I bought a classic Staedtler Mars Micro 775 mechanical pencil yesterday (took me back to my school days). Very good value for only £5 and supporting the local shops.

However, the rOtring 800 is now my latest lust object;
