Having not long took up bandsaw box making, I came across the 3D Reindeer. What a great present for the grand children plus it will give me good practise on tight turns.

Having not long took up bandsaw box making, I came across the 3D Reindeer. What a great present for the grand children plus it will give me good practise on tight turns. Not just on a bit of scrap but something that you need to get the hang of continual movement on the curves.
It's given me the practise to understand the use better plus please the grand children.

Made a few of these over the years and they go down a treat with the recipient.

Yes they are from a 75mm fence post cut in half so you get two out of one piece. Have got some smaller ones to make now,the children want some baby reindeer as well.

I do similar on the scroll saw. 1 a year, the wife has 3 now.
