I took out a subscription on this early last year.
Its quite a good magazine but boy!, are they hopeless at delivering the damn thing.

I had to chase the first two issues and have just had to chase the most recent two - I gave them the benefit of the doubt as it has to ship from 'merica but this is beyond a joke.

Unless I get an improvement I'll not be renewing.

Steer clear!!!
 
I guess the Royal Mail don't assist too much either.
 
I wonder where the problem is? Others have mentioned problems before. Are they incompetent at dispatching them? Or is it USPS/RM? I just signed up to shopnotes and hope these problems don't bite me.
 
Same here, three issues into subscription and had to chase everyone, also signed up for a 2 year for the price of one deal and it took three emails to get this sorted as they only had me down for one year. Other than that I really like to mag itself.

Have you received either Nov or Dec??

Now you mention it I think I had 2 for one as well.
I've just looked at my profile on the website ( clever feature!)and it shows 7 issues ending in April.

I've definitely had Nov, not sure about Dec I'll have a look and let you know, this is one of the things that I've found i don't like, not being published every month it's hard to keep track of where you're up to, I don't think i'll bother renewing when this one expires.

I think it must be down to the firm who do the distribution. I don't take this mag but i do have a subscription for FWW and I've never had a problem either when we were in England or here in CZ which is quite good considering most people I know have never heard of Czech Republic or Czechland, although some still think of it as Czechoslovakia :lol:

I emailed Megan yesterday, got a response saying that she couldn't believe that they were still messing up the distribution over here, apologised and said that an issue would be airmailed.

Its a good mag and they are nice to deal with but as some have said, subs and delivery are not so hot. Still they do respond quickly to resolve the problem.

As I started this as a rant, I'd like to give credit where its due.

Following a wonderful response from Pop Wood to my complaint I've renewed my subscription.

Its nice to know there are folks out there who value their customers.
 
I took out one of the "two for one" subs a little while ago and due to delivery problems did not renew it.

It seemed as if I had to chase them for every issue. It's a real shame, because the magazine is very good.

I had thought that they were getting their "international" act together, but obviously not.

I think they are starting too, when I first subscribed they were rubbish. But a change of distribution and they have got a lot better, I missed an issue last year, I pointed out the slippage and one was airmailed over its simple, no hassle. They do seem to value our custom, and to be fair it is a good mag.
I believe that chris, the editor is a member of the forum as well so you could alway contact him directly through here as others have done.
