I am still making the same boxes with the Japanese cedar construction waste; I am on box number ten. I do have a lot of offcuts from that project but like Steliz have difficulty in throwing them away.

So again, from the offcuts of the salvaged wood (reclaimed squared) I made a pencil box. Now I can save at least three minutes of the day where I wander around asking *where did I put it?...*

Yes its is a bit Mickey Mouse but it's all good practice.

An internal glazed door
Makes you wonder, I went to look at a job last week for 12 Oak wardrobe doors, all standard 2' 6" door sizes, client had already found some online at £66.00 each inc vat, with a discount of £50.00 on her first order I would have to be making one in an hour to even get close, even then the wood would cost more than that.

Jesus where? I need some standard doors and was debating making them myself

Reclaimed squared, working with off cuts from recycled material pieces. Henceforth I shall call these R2 pieces. Furthermore, if I can add a second dimension like model making, I will call these R2D2 projects.

Yesterday I made a little housing for some saw guides, which was also a little test model make for a distant future piece.

Beep, beep!

I've just finished making a new router table insert for my old Elu 177 1600w router.
I've had the router table for over 20 odd years, but the original insert was a plastic/resin type of material and it had cracked & crazed over the years and the router therefore, had quite a bit of movement & wobble......So, I decided to make a new one from a bit of 8mm thick aluminium.

I had tried to buy an "off the shelf" insert but could never locate one that was the correct size to fit my router table, so this seemed to be the best option.

Original table and insert was from Charnwood and they couldn't help me.....

Table insert size was 235mm x 175mm.
