Pop ups on Utube

for the past two weeks I have been getting popups on Utube, do you?

How do I get rid of a popup that is live, it will not seem to move for me?

How can I stop pop ups coming on utube?

example of pop up, (some are local advertisers, I had a local dentist advert earlier today)

Its really annoying. I watch you tube a lot and I have had an many as six pop ups in one clip. It seems that whatever program we use to watch video clips we have to suffer pop ups. I swear I will never buy a phone from the 3 company as long as I live, their adverts come up every time. I don't have a TV so I watch films online and although I have round about 100 TV channels to choose from it is normally BBC i player I use mostly, just to escape the adverts.

Seems easy enough. Just Google block youtube popups spoilt for choice. Y'know, dw, that Google is pretty useful :wink:

With NoScript and AdBlockPlus installed, most unwanted stuff can be blocked. Just click on "Tools" at the top of your Firefox window and a drop-down menu will appear. Click on "Add-ons" and the Add-ons Manager page will open.

Type "NoScript" in the search box and a link to NoScript should be displayed. Just click on the "Install" button.

Repeat for "AdBlockPlus".

this - I haven't had adverts on the PC for years
