i bought a Mafell saw about 4 yrs ago from a German tool shop because they were cheaper than the Uk prices....i think I saved £65 after P&P...maybe have a look online to see whats about in Germany.....VAT is also 1% lower, there are no import taxes.

Thay have had adapters for guide rails - I think this is the newest design, they have a good tech department who can help

Anyone with a DeWalt - can you confirm whether the depth adjustment is metric or imperial? I found a USA review from 2009 that showed imperial; however, I'm wondering what the current UK spec is.

Another few questions about the DeWalt if an owner could confirm:

1. Positive stops on the angle (bevel) setting?
2. Soft start?
3. Blade brake?
