We want one of my sons photographs for our new kitchen and rather than a framed print or canvas (which absorbs cooking odours), my wife wants it printed on acrylic.
Will be 600 x 400mm approx and whilst I like the effect and the photo lends itself to the depth it offers, it is pretty expensive and I have doubts about the quality available and the expected durability and colour fastness.

I have a background in acrylics so am well aware of the difference between extruded and cast but some of the suppliers are extremely vague on materials and also differ between the virtues of direct printing and laminating or sandwiching a print as well as the methods they use to finish the edge.

Just an offchance any member has used this process - any observations and opinions are appreciated.
