I'm getting married in 9 weeks and opted to make my own photobooth instead of using one. I'm not a carpenter and don't really work with wood but I'm going to give it my best shot. I'm a bit stuck with the back as I want to hinge at least half of it to make a door so I can access inside easily. Pictures below.

I have a piece of 9mm plywood cut to the exact size of the front, would it be possible to cut the sheet in half, secure one half down permanently and put 2 butt hinges on the inside of the other half and use it as a door? Or can anybody suggest the best way for me to do this? Eventually it'll have a top and bottom too, thank you.

Photobooths have become quite popular at weddings in recent years. They're for guests to take amusing pictures of themselves on a fixed digital camera so that the bride and groom can have some more informal shots for their album as well as the more conventional group shots by the official photographer.

cameras fixed in place looking out and you can have a box of props for the people to use and pull funny expressions, my brother has built one (with my help) thats got a led ring flash in and it prints and cuts the photos into strips. He hires it out for quite a nice price.

Blimey.....that's new on me too. We had those disposable cameras on each table at our wedding reception. So that was 36 exposures times however many tables there were and that netted us a whole albums worth of people gurning :)
