Scary or what? I used to use a small slitting saw in an overhead router for cutting off box lids but this is altogether unfathomable. Sheeeesh

Wowsers!!
Scary, scary...........Worked pretty darn well, though. If he could sort out some guarding and a way of keeping his hands a few feet further back from the action then it wouldn't seem so crazy.
Philly :D

Seemed to get a nice finish straight off the blade, wonder how many teeth his blade has.
Very little scope for extraction :D

Ohh that gave me shivers just watching that.
Alright i would occasionally remove a guard or two if they are impossible to use for that particular cut.
My dad gives me nightmares though (steady on lads, not like that) runs his cheap TS with no knife and no guard, his router "table" involves him clamping his router upside down in his workmate with a "straight" edge clamped on to it using spring clamps.

jeebies central especially when he asks me to give him a hand!

Here is what they say:

Ok, you´re always welcome! The horizontal saw seems scary, but is efficient for bookmatch so much. Here, we can do it easly, we are excellent wood workers!

"algo é muito engraçado nessa história, pois procuro entender o inglês, porque não procuras entender o português?"

Guess they know best!

And you guys give The New Yankee Worshop fits for no guards.....this guy can sand the end at the same time with this set up.. :D

I don't know why you guys are so excited...it's just a...

"Blade guard removed for clarity"...

I think that it's very good method, but...not in my shop...
