Like that gives the piece of firewood a whole new lease of life and the nail holes means to me at least that seen from a distance it merits a closer look just because it would catch the eye ,once drawn in the secret box would be a bonus .

I was cutting up a pallet to burn and noticed how heavy it was, a lovely red colour too, not sure what the wood is....
