Painting kitchen units

Hi could someone please give me an idea of the best type of paint to use to paint some kitchen doors I am going to build.

The wife wants then not to be gloss so may be a satin finish.

The doors will be made our of an ash frame with a flexi ply and/or insert.

+1. the latest range of eggshell is scrubbable too. Used in our kitchen about 3 years ago and seems bombproof.
